On April 16th, 2005 Mick Bernard, a Port Authority Police Officer, was killed in a tragic car accident. He left behind his wife Jana and their two young children. In a response of obedience to God, the Bernard's friends and family rallied together to form the Mick Bernard Legacy Of Faith Golf Tournament. The tournament was held annually from 2005-2006 to raise a significant amount of money for the purpose of his children's education.
It is from this spirit of obedience and love for Jesus Christ that The Legacy Of Faith Foundation had formed. Answering the call of James 1:27 "To look after orphans and widows in their time of need." It is now our mission that the widows and orphans of our community receive help in their time of distress.
